Reporting security vulnerabilities

At Bürkert, we do everything we can to reduce and eliminate security vulnerabilities in our products and services. We ask anyone who discovers weaknesses in our products and services to contact us. This applies particularly to security researchers and ethical hackers. Together we can prevent the harmful and illegal exploitation of security vulnerabilities.

How to report a security vulnerability to us

Any person, institution or organisation that discovers a security vulnerability in our digital product and service portfolio can contact Bürkert’s product security experts confidentially and without red tape. We will then work with you to fix the vulnerability you have discovered and thus improve security for future users of the product or service.

If you have discovered a security vulnerability, please do not make it public. Please contact us immediately and exclusively so that we can work together in a targeted and coordinated manner to eliminate the security vulnerability.

We guarantee that your message will be answered and that we will contact you within five working days in the event of a relevant security vulnerability. Upon request, you will be acknowledged with thanks for your commitment to the security of our company and our customers following successful elimination of the vulnerability.
