Type 8686 - Control and feedback head for integrated mounting on Type 2036 Robolux valves
Type Description
Position feedback indicator Type 8685 and control head Type 8686 are optimised for integrated mounting on pneumatically operated Type 2036 Robolux control valves. Adaptation to the respective actuator size can be carried out via DIP switch. In a compact unit, the devices perform the automation functions for the two independently controllable actuator halves. Depending on the configuration, these include electrical and optical position feedback by means of non-contact switches and LEDs, pneumatic control of the actuator pistons via integrated pilot valves, and the AS-Interface communication interface. This enables a fully integrated, decentralised automation concept for process technology. The compact bodies are characterised in particular by their hygienic design, materials resistant to cleaning agents and a practical high IP degree of protection. An integrated supply-air filter additionally protects the pneumatic switching function of the Type 8686 control head against coarse contamination in the compressed air supply.
