Type 8905 - Online water analysis system
Type Description
The Type 8905 online water analysis system is a compact, modular system for monitoring all key water parameters on a single platform. It is a multi-parameter measuring system for Bürkert Sensor Cubes based on the compact housing. Variants without a housing are also available (field system). The modular Type 8905 system enables measurement of the following water parameters: pH, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, conductivity, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), turbidity, temperature and iron. These sensors can be used in the compact system or as field units. Further, virtually unlimited configurations in control cabinets to meet customer requirements can be implemented using the Type 8906 online water analysis system. The compact water analysis system is designed for easy installation and commissioning, as well as straightforward operation and maintenance. For maintenance, individual sensors can be removed from the Bürkert backplane system without tools, while the remaining sensors continue measuring. This ensures maximum system availability with maximum ease of use. Operation is via the integrated 7" touch display or Bürkert Communicator. In addition to displaying and storing analysis parameters, further functions are available, for example: programming simple open- and closed-loop control algorithms using the f(x) software function; intervening in the process via analogue and digital inputs and outputs; and carrying out sensor calibrations.
